China Glaze Awakening Collection: Nails to Drive the Ghouls Crazy for Fall 2010 - Makeup and Beauty Blog
What it do, ghoul-friend? I'm guessing I'yard probably not alone in feeling like Halloween'due south virtually a billion light years away right at present, but if yous're one of those always-planning-early types (or peradventure every day feels like All Hallows' Eve to you?), peep the three new colors of China Glaze's upcoming Enkindling drove.
Color me a kid from the '80s, simply dayum these colors remind me of Michael Jackson's Thriller video. I was eight years one-time the start time I saw it and got null sleep for two weeks. Every time I'd shut my optics I'd come across MJ's glistening in the dark.
Zombie Zest, a nighttime greenish jelly base packed with green and gold glitter and my favorite color out of the three, looks like a nail polish version of those haunting peepers. Childhood scarring aside, I think information technology besides looks kinda like sparkly baby poo. Both describe the color as well.
The other ii shades, Ick-a-torso (a brownish green jelly base with burnt orangish glitter) and Mummy May I (a purplish black jelly with purple glitter), are a lot of fun, as well, especially if you like monstrous colors.
In each of these pics I'm wearing three coats.
Zombie Zest
Ick-a-Body
Mummy May I
I'm yet trying to track down an official release date, simply it's rumored to be rolling onto dazzler shelves in September. Communist china Coat polishes get for about $6, so that would place the Awakening ready (which also comes with a bottle of Red china Glaze Fast Frontwards Peak Coat) at effectually $24, requite or take. I'll allow you know when I go more than info.
In the meantime, what do ya retrieve? Do these shades make you wanna become your Frankenstein freak on, or are they merely too out there for you?
Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,
Karen
